Music Discovery of the Day: The Eves - We're On Fire

Scottish pop songwriting duo ‘The Eves’ are Marissa Keltie and Caroline Gilmour , one of the UK’s most promising pop acts in recent years with their stand-out brand of melodic pop. Single releases ‘Big Love’ and ‘Brand New Day’ commanded attention from mainstream commercial radio stations, with both tracks played on BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio Scotland and BBC Introducing. In terms of live performances, the pair are seasoned performers having opened for a raft of major global artists at sold out shows including Belinda Carlisle, Sister Sledge, and The Shires. They’ve toured extensively with Skerryvore and Horse across the UK, opened for Callum Beattie, and have performed at festivals including TRSNMT, Country to Country, Edge Fest, Tiree Festival, Moonbeams and Fringe by the Sea, sharing stages with Wet Wet Wet, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Gabrielle, Tony Hadley and Heather Small.
