Prima Queen is a transatlantic indie/alternative rock duo formed by best friends Louise Macphail from Bristol, UK, and Kristin McFadden from Chicago, USA. Their music combines vulnerable and nostalgic storytelling with light-hearted lyrical imagery, drawing influences from artists such as Alvvays, Julia Jacklin, Phoebe Bridgers, and Lucy Dacus. In November 2024, Prima Queen announced their debut full-length album, The Prize, set for release on April 25, 2025.
