Isolated Youth, a Swedish post-punk band from Norrtälje, is set to release their debut album, Miserere Mei, on April 4, 2025, through Birthday Productions and Memorials of Distinction. The album's title, translating to "Have Mercy on Me," draws inspiration from classical and biblical themes, notably the choral work by Gregorio Allegri. However, the content is firmly rooted in contemporary experiences. The production of Miserere Mei was a collaborative effort between Faris Badwan of The Horrors and producer Max Hayes, known for his work with Primal Scream and The Rolling Stones. This partnership has resulted in a sound that blends raw Scandinavian post-punk elements with polished rock influences.
