Lars Von Trier returns to the source. When he started making The Kingdom, a miniseries for Danish television, in the 1990s, he planned to create a series in three parts. Production was suspended after two series, and the never-finished third season became a myth. The utopian attempt to bring this format back from the television beyond and complete a certain project that had already been initiated became an event. In Kingdom: Exodus, twenty-five years after the events of the original series, we again find ourselves in a haunted hospital in the center of Copenhagen, and as it turns out, not much has changed. 20 wins & 7 nominations international film festivals.
