In the heat of summer, by the sun-kissed sea of the French Riviera, 17-year-old Cécile leads a hedonistic, languorous life with her widowed playboy father Raymond and his latest love interest Elsa. But the unexpected arrival of Anne, a cosmopolitan and sophisticated friend of her late mother, threatens to disrupt the self-indulgent haze of the holidays.
